Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is an important and versatile component of our mental health. The social pressure we are under has increased immensely over the years. And even in the 21st century, dealing with feelings is often still a taboo subject for men. On the one hand, psychotherapy can help you to counteract some emotional stressors such as anxiety, depression and stress-related illnesses. On the other hand, psychotherapy also strengthens mental resilience. This makes dealing with stress, change and difficult life situations much easier for the clients of my psychotherapy or online practices. While simultaneously boosting self-esteem and improving relationships, participating in psychotherapy also helps to maintain quality of life.
With psychotherapy, you can only win!

Couples therapy

The most difficult part of interpersonal relationships, they say, is communication. Talking to your partner about your thoughts and feelings, expressing them correctly and listening to each other can be extremely challenging. Especially in cases where conflicts have not yet been identified. As a couples therapist, I help you in my psychotherapy practices to identify these precisely, to improve your communication and to develop solutions together. With the help of therapy, you can learn to deepen your relationship and also increase intimacy. Couples therapy serves to maintain and strengthen the relationship. Improve the quality of life for you and your partner, get to know each other even better and develop a conflict resolution strategy together. Visit me at one of my psychotherapy practices and take your relationship to a new level.

Family therapy

‘One cannot not communicate,’ as the Carinthian philosopher Paul Watzlawick already knew. But what you can do is communicate wrongly. This happens particularly often in families. Often there is a lack of mutual understanding for the other generation, the current phases of life and developments. As a family therapist, I help you in my psychotherapy practices with my pronounced interpersonal understanding and sharpened empathy to work through, identify and name your conflicts, as well as to create more space and understanding in your relationships with each other. We can vary between systemic therapy approaches such as family constellations and a multi-person setting. In addition, I help you to express your feelings, to be heard or to find your new place in difficult family circumstances, separations or changes. There is no problem for which there is no solution.
Especially not in the family.

Animal-assisted trauma therapy

The dog is man's best friend. Some even go so far as to say dogs are better than people. In my psychotherapy practices, my therapy companion dog Kaija is a valuable support. Many clients feel safer and more comfortable with a four-legged friend in the room, which creates a safe and non-threatening environment. The feeling of safety is also an important factor in trauma therapy. Trauma therapy is a type of treatment that focuses on processing and coping with traumas. Traumas arise from traumatic events such as rape, war, natural disasters or the sudden loss of a loved one. People who have experienced trauma can suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which can manifest itself in symptoms such as anxiety, depression, sleep disorders and flashbacks. Together with Kaija and your staff, I will help you to understand and process your feelings and thoughts and learn how to deal with them in the right way. Start your healing process.
